Context

From a Segmented Beauty Studio to a Hair Salon with Optimized Flow The space is located in a newly constructed building. Prior to the transformation, it operated as a beauty studio specializing in body shaping and massage. The interior suffered from a series of functional and aesthetic limitations:

  • PVC/Double-glazed partitions | These visually segmented the area, creating a cramped and oppressive feeling.

  • Drop ceiling / Coffered ceiling | An element that evokes an office environment rather than a premium setting for beauty services.

  • Lack of a dedicated laundry area | A crucial detail for daily operations.

The challenge was to completely reconfigure the internal logic of the space without making massive interventions to the infrastructure. Our intervention: We transformed a chaotically partitioned space into a hair salon with a professional workflow and a modern-industrial character.

Objective

The owner wanted a premium hair studio that would attract a high-end clientele. Her vision was clear:

  • A space with a modern, slightly industrial look.

  • A strong visual identity that is easily recognizable on social media.

  • A backdrop where photos of blonde hair would turn out perfectly (meaning the wall color should not cast undertones or create unwanted reflections).

The space needed to be:

  • Exclusive yet comfortable | Refined and discreet, rather than opulent.

  • Photogenic | Designed to be shared organically by clients.

  • Functional | With an optimized layout for six cutting stations, three backwash units, a color bar, a desk, and a kitchenette.

Unlike traditional projects, here the interior design became a strategic branding tool, not just an aesthetic arrangement.
